Thanks for stopping by. I’m Den, and you’ll usually find me round the back of a camera. Visualsnap is my brand name for wedding photography, and that’s my specialty.
I take pictures for you to look back on in a contemporary and documentary photographic style. I shoot the majority of weddings in Kent, but work across Surrey, Essex and London wedding venues also. Above all, I love taking pictures of people and capturing images that make you think and reflect. Weddings are a great opportunity to document people and relationships across many generations, and it’s these interactions that appeal to me.
Unlike many other wedding photographers who just point and shoot, I’m constantly thinking about the image in front of me and not just aiming at a target.
When I frame someone within my camera, I’m analysing a whole magnitude of information; distractions in the background, how light falls on them, the quality of light and shadow on their face, the reflectivity of the scene, pose and body language, colour and overall composition – and more depending on the conditions. Sometimes these things are within my control, but usually not without compromise in a live wedding environment. This is why having a professional approach to my photography is important to me and you.
A professional wedding photographer in my opinion should also be artistic and tastefully develop your pictures back at the studio with care and passion. The end package is a one off and it has to impress you. Being a perfectionist, I just wouldn’t feel right giving you any pictures that didn’t meet my own expectations.
I only use top spec equipment and this means I am always ready to handle any situation and achieve the best quality of photography for you. I don’t want a technical reason to ever get in the way of the image I have in mind for you.
I’m often told I’m very easygoing, accommodating and friendly. I will never take over your wedding day or boss people around. My client feedback remains consistently one of praise.
I genuinely feel privileged to be working with couples on possibly the best day of their lives. I’d love to make you part of that experience as your wedding photographer.
